… Ok, it’s been more than 8 months.. not even 1 blog..!?  quite busy leh…;-)
Hmmm, ups and downs…? definitely, there are.. more ups, i would say.. isnt dat gd! heh..

Main highlight, i left one Pro A/V manufacturer(French) to join another(American). So, i guess it’s ‘Au Revoir’, and ‘Howdy partner’…? Haha.. so far so good, lots of training.. went on my 1st overseas biz trip while still on probation.. Gold Coast is pretty nice, wouldnt mind more leisure time though.. In my view, almost an alcoholic for that 4 days there.. Looking forward to the HK biz trip in Nov..
Been a faithful servant for PA year-to-date.. done almost all the big n small productions.. think that’s enough for the year? maybe, should venture out to try and do something else..
Health’s pretty good overall, just a couple of those minor stuff.. still, better to keep away from them too…
Planning to go on a vacation in Oct.. hopefully that might work out some way.. Oh, instead of Sentosa, shall we go Bintan or Batam? There’s also sun, sand & sea there! How, Lj…? =]
Anyway, me & buddy & friends, are so freaking kiasu that we already got our flights confirmed for our year-end trip to Hokkaido.. haha.. more than 3 months in advance.. Amazing!

That’s pretty much, i think.. haha.. anyway, time to sleep too.. see if i can think of more to add… oh, well, really hope i’ve better fortunes in finding my other half..

well, anyway, it didnt happen, procrastinated again…

hmm.. 2007 was an alright year.. medically ok, though there was a 2d1n NUH stay.. Immediately did a show right after being discharged.. Haha! Has anyone encountered or heard of similar scenarios, whereby patient get hospitalised in order to save on medical bill?

I would say, for me, it’s considered quite an active year with respect to dance.. couple of big-scale performances and 1 or 2 shows..

Work isn’t so exciting anymore. Though good to have biz trips, but getting tired of them. Went on 3 holidays this year, definitely a hole somewhere.. haha.. Worthwhile!

As for resolutions.. Get more healthier & fitter will be primary[I wanna go Tibet!!].. Career advancement and hopefully, likewise for matters of heart.. Heard quite a few predictions, looks like it’s a pretty gd year for Monkeys to find love.. It’s about time..! Heheh..

Okz, time to slp.. i would really like to 守岁 longer, but limit liaoz..

My return to yet another big production.. *yeah!* =]   Heard that i appeared in the live telecast, looking stone/serious.. Haha, that’s me bah, cos i usually forget to smile when in action.. =p   Say say say, better than nothing eh..

Already 1 year into my present job.. kinda nice.. new environment too.. just moved office, from 300 Beach Rd to 700 Beach Rd.. Hahaha… sort of deja vu, going to Paris again and then china again in late April..  Great addition in between, a holiday to ‘Land of the Rising Sun’..!! ~sakura, sakura…~

Weird sensations here, there at times.. Nothing la hor.. dun think it’s any ‘pok’.. =p

Yes, indeed.. the HumVee has returned to the performing stage and it was almost perfect!!  Though only on the last nite.. Heheh.. Those who know, will understand.. Hah!

Another 3-4 months have passed, getting the hang of job..Just the occasional small hiccups along the way. Overall, it’s been good. Upcoming travel is projected in August.. But before that, im going for holidays 1st…!! OKayyyyy!!!

Hihi.. Nothing much..

Just like to share a quote, " Life is like a dance, live to the fullest before the music stops."   Good eh…? haha

Enduring more than 4 months’ of waiting and chasing, i most certainly have gotten hold of my genuine, error-free degree certificate.. Although really joyous to have received it, felt a bit disappointed with its plain design.. =|

Also, after months of hunting for a permanent job, i finally landed a desirable position in a French SME, dealing with professional Audio Visual equipment. Scope revolves around the technical support of equipment and a bit of customer handling, in APAC region. Some travelling is required and in coming weeks, destination: Paris. Next stop, probably Shanghai in April. Its been 2 weeks already, not much work, moderate pace.. Quite a bit of reading up and revising though. It’s an interesting environment. So, i look forward to spending some good time with this firm and the A/V industry.

In last 2 months, a number of public holidays have gone by.. New Year, Haji, CNY.. Sad to say, missed out on enjoying them fully, like most people with permanent jobs..

Back to dancing.. Slowly getting myself into better shape .. Significantly, more drinking too, with the higher frequency of gatherings and celebrations at bro’s place.. Not forgetting jamming sessions for our <Rubber/Contra-Band>, which the name had not really been finalised, i think…. Heh… Practice, Practice, Practice..!!!  Hah..

Health should be getting better, but i’m not so sure.. Just hope it will clear off, one way or another..

Another three weeks had passed, and my cert have finally arrived.. Wasnt able to go down to collect today, but my course-mate did. Turned out that there were printing errors on all the certs.. Instead of ‘Electrical & Electronic Engineering’, the certs had ‘Electronic & Electronic Engineering’ on them..! kaoz!

….. Really dont understand how a University can make mistakes not once, but twice, for such trivial but significant matters.. Uni had multiple cork-ups, and local agent institution also didnt follow up.. Had enough already, that’s it with the nice & polite sentences..

Came to be a three months’ delay.. And the waiting continues…

Happy New Year to all..!!

After 2 years, 6 months & 22 days, the darn pneumothorax came back to haunt me and of all times, to hit me hard in end-Sept.. Amid all the rehearsals and work.. Pneumothorax is basically, the leaking of the lungs, with the air trapped in the chest cavity. It was the right lung back then. The other lung this time, it probably reached its expiry date too.. Began having ‘leaking’ sensations some time ago, even on the departure for my europe trip.. So, i was real lucky to be able to make it back.. heh..

For the 3rd consecutive year, i had to have a ‘holiday’ in hospital.. Actually, wanted to ignore the sensations and KIV till at least after the production.. But, the stake was too high, potentially endangering my life.. Clocked my 2nd surgery and accumulated another long scar on the left, ‘balancing’ out both sides.. Very much wanted to participate in this production, being involved in a special anniversary performance and as one of the seniors.. Hence, once again, my stage return was postponed, and i wonder whether that day would ever come..

It’s been 2 weeks since graduation, and i got to vent my frustrations. Disappointment again, as i did not get my degree cert as agreed.. Was given assurances that i can look forward to it in a week, but on the contrary, it’s delayed again and it would only arrive either today or tomorrow.. Really hope this will be the last.. In all, it’s late by more than 2 months.. Dun understand how such a simple matter can be so complicated to handle for a local institution, which claimed to have the most awards.. likewise, how can the university make discrepancies like multiple printing of one’s cert, and totally missing out on other graduates.. super duper sianz

Cameron Highlands is indeed a good place to escape from the heat… Cool 18 degrees breeze in the mountains.. free aircon all nite. Fresh strawberries and good ‘ummph’ tea.. Unfortunately, there are the twists and turns during the journey up and down the mountain city, resulting in dizzy spells.. Almost merlion-ed.. =p

Third time unlucky.. Pulled out from 4 productions in 3 consecutive years…

Still no perm job, but a 3 weeks’ hospital stay instead…

Gone thru convocation, but still no degree certificate…

More bad than good recently.. Shall talk about it in further details when i’m back.. Escaping to KL & Cameron Highlands for a few days..

Like to further highlight the "my 1st time"s during my recent euro trip:

- driving in UK, a Ford Ka

- and hitting >90mph, ie. almost 150kmh.. *wahaha.. shiok!!*

- flying & holidaying alone

- eating black pudding.. *you might not want to know what it is made of..*

- taking a european Low Cost Carrier - Jet2.com

- watching english premier league and champions league soccer matches on-site, @ Old Trafford, Anfield and JJB Stadium

that’s what i can recall, for now…
